DEATH'S DESTINATION

Hunger was the reason,
I think,
Hunger was the killer…

That scene was painful,
And painful was the atmosphere,
Life and death were looking at each other,
That was the fear in side the fear….

A boy lying on the land,
He was struggling and somewhat bend,

The land had gone barred,
The chilled wind was threatening him,
His life became vulnerable and
was begging life from death.

The pain inside him was speaking,
I am longing for life,
Death is longing for me,
Take me inside you,
Lets you and me become we…

A vulture was standing near boy,
And observing that boy,
He was looking very happy.

Boy was talking with land,
Open you lap,
Give me some space,
I want a death without pain….

Oh! Poor I am,
And poor is my luck,
I am not even able to count my last breaths,
My life is death’s destination,
And death is my life’s…

I want to be brave,
I want to be strong,
But I am without energy,
I am not able to dig my grave.
